I’m a Vancouver Island–based photographer and cinematographer who’s been pointing cameras at beautiful places and interesting people for over a decade. From chasing sunsets across the world to capturing local businesses in their best light (literally), I specialize in turning real moments into cinematic stories that don’t feel staged or stuffy.

Apparently, all it takes to rack up millions of views online is me pointing at a rock and saying, “This isn’t just a rock—it’s a historic rock.” Who knew? My social media videos about local landmarks, quirky attractions, and historical oddities have somehow turned into a full-blown internet sensations. People can’t resist chiming in with comments like, “My uncle tripped over that exact spot in 1984,” or “That’s where I lost my flip-flop in the summer of ’97.” Forget Hollywood blockbusters—my star-studded cast is wooden carrots, explosions, and moss-covered trails.
The best part? These videos don’t just rack up views, they spark conversations. Folks hit like, smash share, and tag their cousins with a dramatic “WE HAVE TO GO HERE.” It’s history with a twist of humor, storytelling with a sprinkle of sass, and tourism marketing disguised as casual fun. Basically, I’ve tricked the algorithm into thinking heritage is hot—and honestly, I’m not mad about it.

Last year, I traveled to Northern BC with a writer and photographer. Together, we produced:
